A leaving song

Yesterday we were at the airport to goodbye our friends :(. It's not that bad, they will only be gone for 3 months, the sad thing: we will miss them greatly, it's summer and we were supposed to be hanging out together.
I am actually very happy for them, its a great experience to work in a whole other country, and to be in Time Square for the new year is going to be amazing guys!, I am sorry I didn't give any of you a letter to read in the plane, I am just such a bad writer as you can notice :/.

Anyway, I was going threw a couple of reviews on the net about music and the new Incubus cd came across, I remembered Lito, that lucky bastard, I guess this is what we get to be such a pain in the ass last year with green day, right?, I will wait for your story about it, and you will have to explain in detail how beautiful Brandon Boyd and Brandon flowers are.

Seems this summer will be full of great memories and along with them we will have music, as always, I am anxious to hear what band will be remembered and will mark the summer you guys traveled to the USA, I am already smelling that summerish odor, wet grass and flowers that reminds me of Rosi, Liloooo! the beach won't be the same without you! Maru and Mari lack of that sunny disposition needed to enter the sea!!!.

Music! that was the point of this post. Incubus yes the new album, I don't know if its my imagination or is it that this band always comes out with a new cd in summer?, Incubus is a summer, beach band, I have many memories of incubus songs while walking on the sand or just lying under the sun with the headphones in mid volume giving the ocean a change to percolate the sound of the waves to mix with the music. Light grenades wont be any different, I will take it to the beach, and it will remain in my memory as one of the fav cd for the summer of 2007, it will remind me of my friends in new jersey and Pennsylvania, I know for sure one of them will remember this cd too and will relate it to this time in his life.

Hey everyone!
I know I should have done my Sparrow doll!, I am really sorry Mari :( but as you already know I didn't receive any help with the pattern and you can blame Maru for that, she decided to make a pattern for the face of Gerard Way, and I already had a body stuffed (that sounded weird :/) anyway, we got too excited with the gayrard doll and we succeed with the black parade outfit...so, here is a picture of him.

UUGGGHH, I've being sooo lazy these last few days, I promised I was going to update this place, and I haven't, I was supposed to have a little help of someone... well that didn't worked out to well, I have to make a paiting for my newborn niece and I haven't even started!, WHAT'S WRONG WITH ME! heehee...anyway, I have been making handpainted bags which are pretty cool, just freestyling, :D, I'll be selling this bags throu the creepy company website,and I'll post some pictures of them later.

Again another post to let you know that we are still working, some of the links are now working properly, sorry for the mess :/

DOLL TUTORIAL

MATERIALS:

- Cotton Jersey: (for the body) or any type of fabric that seems like the fabric of which T-shirts are made of. (white is ok, but you will need to dye the fabric, I dyed the fabric of my dolls with coffee,actually I would not recommend this, since at some point you will have to wash the thingy and the color will wash away, so if you find fabric in a suitable color for the skin,like cream or light peach better yet.)

- Polyester Fiberfill: as needed, normally this is sold in kgs, is rather cheap, I bought 1/2kg and it was enough to stuff 5 dolls.

- Cloth and accesories: ok, here you can get creative, you can totally skip buying fabrics for the wardrobe, look around your closet and take your oldest skirts, tshirts, pants etc, besides, using old clothes gives them a vintage vibe.

-Wool yarn (hair): Billie's hair is babby rabbit wool is very soft, Tré and Mike's hair is a type of long plush, I still dont know what the name in english for it, so if someone can tel me the name would be very much apreciated, but to give you a hint, is the same material of which troll's hair are made of.

- Acrilyc paints or Fabric paints: to paint the faces, if you are by now getting all stressed about how are you going to paint the face, relaaaax, just send us an email telling us who do you want to make as a doll, we will send you the graphics :)

-Cardboard: to make the patterns

-Chalk: to draw your patterns into the fabrics

-Needle and thread.

A little bit of update

Hi everyone!
I have been receiving many emails about how to make the faces, and probably many of you aren't quite finishied due to that matter...anyway, (I want to take a looksy to your dolls finished, COME ON SEND ME SOME PICS) :( hhaha, anyway I have update the procedure part with a video explaining how to pass the graphics onto the fabric :D
